When Attraction Fades

Attraction is often what brings two people together, but it was never designed to carry the relationship for a lifetime. Feelings can rise and fall, appearances can change, and emotions can become inconsistent. When attraction begins to fade, the question is no longer, "Do I still feel butterflies?" but, "Do I still remember why we chose each other?" Attraction is an invitation, not the foundation. It opens the door, but character, commitment, trust, and shared purpose are what build the house. Many relationships struggle because they try to live on the excitement of the beginning instead of intentionally cultivating love every day.
