Singles, Don't Enter Another Relationship Until You Read This: How Do You Know If God Is Saying Yes or No?

One of the greatest struggles for many singles is discerning God's voice when love is involved. The excitement of a new relationship can easily drown out wisdom, making emotions sound like revelation. Have you ever asked yourself, Is this truly God's will, or am I simply afraid of being alone? A relationship approved by God will never require you to compromise His Word. Scripture says, "Trust in the Lord with all your heart and lean not on your own understanding; in all your ways submit to Him, and He will make your paths straight" (Proverbs 3:5–6).

God's answer is often revealed through peace, wisdom, and alignment with His Word rather than through emotions alone. A relationship may feel exciting, but does it draw you closer to Jesus or farther from Him? Does it produce purity, spiritual growth, and mutual honor, or does it continually lead you into compromise? Love that is truly from God will strengthen your walk with Christ, not weaken it. Kingdom relationships are built on purpose before passion.

As a single believer, do not confuse delay with denial. Sometimes God says "wait" because He is preparing your character before your companionship. Other times He says "no" because He sees what you cannot see. The greatest act of love is not finding someone quickly but following God faithfully. A relationship outside His will may satisfy your emotions today while creating pain tomorrow.

Healthy love also welcomes accountability. Are the godly people in your life affirming this relationship, or are they expressing concern? Are you seeking counsel because you desire wisdom, or are you avoiding it because you fear hearing the truth? A heart surrendered to God values confirmation more than convenience and obedience more than personal desire.

A strong love culture begins with loving Christ above every relationship. When Jesus remains your first love, you gain the wisdom to recognize what belongs in your future and what should remain in your past. As Scripture declares, "Seek first His kingdom and His righteousness, and all these things will be given to you as well" (Matthew 6:33). When God leads your heart, you will never have to fear missing His best.

Hope Expression Values You.

The True Essence of Love: Protection and Respect

Hello, lovers! Love is a beautiful and powerful force that binds two people together, creating a deep connection rooted in trust, vulnerability, and mutual respect. However, love comes with responsibilities. One of the most crucial aspects of a healthy, loving relationship is protection. Love culture demands protection—emotional, intellectual, and physical. If you cannot protect the person you love and instead abuse the access you have to their vulnerability, it’s time for a serious self-reflection. Protecting Vulnerability When someone loves you, they open up their heart, sharing their deepest fears, dreams, and insecurities. This level of vulnerability is a precious gift that must be cherished and safeguarded. If you exploit this vulnerability, manipulate their emotions, or demean their intellect, you are not only damaging the relationship but also becoming a toxic presence in their life. Recognizing this behavior is the first step toward change. Repentance and transformation are ess...
